IT Developer – Senior

Role Profile

The mission of the Senior IT developer within Memnon is to strengthen the existing team of developers in creating, designing and developing IT solutions for final users in production sites around the world.  Setting up, adapting and improving solutions, allowing the production to stay fully efficient and delivering high quality digitization.  Participating in technical watch, R&D and new products development and specifications.

The Memnon IT and R&D team develops its own solutions for digitization, ingesting, transcoding, and workflow management. In the production, we use in-house developed solutions combined with integrations of 3rd party software products and interfacing to many hardware equipment. Our solutions are deployed in both Memnon Digitization facilities in Europe, US, and Dubai, and externally at many clients’ premises all over the world.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You participate in both technological and architectural choices
  • You develop and maintain main applications with C #, C / C ++, SQL, NoSQL.
  • You develop and maintain by using increasingly Linux technologies
  • You adapt and develop dashboards by using both front-end and back-end Web technologies
  • You take part in various projects and learn the latest technologies
  • You work on solutions using an Agile methodology
  • You participate in continuous improvement process of IT Solutions
  • You document solutions
  • You work with Linux and Microsoft development environments and technologies

Reporting line

  • You’ll report to the CTO
  • You’ll collaborate with the IT planner
  • You’ll work closely work with the other IT developers, supporters and CTO
  • You’ll work for internal clients who are production teams located in Brussels or Bloomington and in all on-site locations.
  • You will assist the sales team for the technical aspects.



  • 1 position: Brussels, Belgium
  • 1 position: Bloomington, IN, USA
  • You could be required to provide some short missions (ca. 1-3 weeks) abroad for on-site support or system setup/upgrades

Profile required

Education and Experience

  • You have a Master in Computer Sciences
  • You are 2 years experienced in a similar position
  • Preferred: interest for/knowledge of audio/video/film technologies


  • You can develop and maintain with C #, C / C ++, SQL, NoSQL.
  • Linux and MS development environments and technologies
  • Good knowledge and experienced in Web technologies:
  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS or AngularJS…)
  • Back-end: Python or Ruby or Golan or Node.js, Restful API
  • Able to collaborate by using an Agile methodology
