Andrew is in charge of Memnon in North America. He has an extensive background in digital and physical media along with operations management and business development.
Prior to joining Memnon in 2014, Andrew was Director, New Business Development at Sony DADC. From 2001 to 2011 Andrew was at Arvato Digital Services (Bertelsmann Group) as Vice President Sales and Marketing, where he also managed supply chain services. Originally, he started his carrier at the Tape division of Agfa.
Michel Merten is the founder and co-CEO of Memnon Archiving Services
In 2004, Michel founded Memnon Archiving Services to address the challenge of the preservation of the audiovisual heritage. Memnon innovated the digitization market by developing new methodologies to allow large-scale digitization. Michel grew the company into the leading global service provider in the field.
Memnon’s acquisition in July 2015 by Sony has enhanced company capabilities, providing access to Sony global technology support, the breadth of product portfolio in the audiovisual field and resources for rapid international project deployment. Michel Merten represents Memnon in several professional organizations related to the preservation of audiovisual heritage. He is also member of the board of the Alliance Française and of the Music Council in Brussels.
